 "I wish young people will give the same energy they give BBN to politics- Actress Lala Akindoju says


Lala Akindoju has said she wishes Nigerian youths will give as much energy to politics as they give to Big Brother Naija.

 

The actress said young people have to "do more to fight for our country". She added that she wishes young people will register and vote for elections with as much energy as they use in voting for BBNaija housemates.

Woman robbed of her baby and thrown into septic tank is rescued after three days

  A woman has been rescued from a septic tank three days after a man who stole her baby from her threw her in there.   The nursing mother, named Mrs Chizoba Eke was pulled alive but injured from the septic tank of an incomplete building located in Igwuruta, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State.   Her attacker, simply identified as Chinedu was apprehended when he tried to traffic her six months old baby through Omerelu, Rivers border with Imo State.   Mrs Eke, the nursing mother was kidnapped from her home with her baby on August 17, 2020, and forced into a septic tank after a severe assault by her abductor.   The husband of the victim, Mr Eke, also alleged that Chinedu had attempted to rape his wife when she was pregnant with the newborn.   Mr Eke said, “I was invited by the police to come and identify our baby, having lodged a complaint when both my wife and baby went missing. Singer Mariah Carey's estranged sister Alison has filed a lawsuit accusing their mother Patricia of allegedly 'forcing her to perform sex acts on strangers during "Satanic rituals" when she was 10.    Alison Carey, 57, lodged documents with the State of New York Supreme Court seeking damages for "immense psychological and physical damage, mental pain, anguish and intentional infliction of severe emotional distress."   In the papers, obtained by The Sun, Alison alleges she witnessed adults engaging in "sexual acts with both adults and children" and she claims the alleged abuse took place during "middle-of-the-night satanic worship meetings that included ritual sacrifices."
