An angry mob of neighbours tried to lynch a suspected killer in Argentina after the body of a missing 19 year old girl was found buried in his garden.   Beautiful Julieta Abigail del Pino went missing on Friday July 31, in the small town of Berabevu, in northeastern Santa Fe, Argentina. Julieta left her workplace on Friday and called her mum to ask her to warm her dinner, however, she never arrived home, according to newspaper Infobae. On Saturday morning, August 1, her mum fearful of the worst, reported her disappearance to the Attorney Unit of Meincue, led by prosecutor Susana Pepino, who ordered a search party in the area with dogs after studying CCTV footage. Footage of a sports club in the town reportedly showed Julieta passing by on her motorbike. On Saturday, search dogs led officers to her boyfriend, Romero's car. A newly married military officer was shot dead by his colleague in Borno state following a misunderstanding.   Lieutenant Babakaka Shehu Ngorgi of the 202 Battalion, who got married in December 2019, was talking to his wife Hauwa Alhaji Kolomi when one of his colleagues shot him from the back six times in Bama, Borno.   After shooting him, the attacker was reportedly heard screaming, "I have achieved my aim." It is not yet clear why the soldier killed Lt Ngorgi, who is his senior in the army and on the battlefield.    Friends have gone on various social media platforms to mourn Ngorgi.  

Mr. Nicholas Ofodile, a Kogi-based businessman, who was found dead in his car last month along Abuja-Lokoja highway (read here), was murdered by assassins hired by an aggrieved associate.    The identity of Ofodile's alleged killer was disclosed by the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Mr Ede Ayuba, while parading the leader of the gang, one Vincent Omogor, and  27 others at the command’s headquarters in Lokoja yesterday, July 29.   Ayuba disclosed that the suspect was arrested by Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives in collaboration with vigilantes in the state. He was arrested in Orehi, Kogi Local Government Area of the State. Speaking with newsmen, the suspect said he was commissioned by someone, who he referred to as "chairman", to assassinate the businessman. A 16-year-old girl has tragically died after her uncle allegedly threw her from an 11th floor apartment in Tehran, Iran.   The victim, Fatemeh Ghozat was allegedly beaten and then murdered by her uncle Mojtaba Namdar after speaking out against his abuse on May 22.    Fatemeh's heartbroken mom, Bariha Rahmani, who witnessed the alleged incident told Iran International TV that Mojtaba threw her daughter out of a window from an 11th-floor apartment in the Shahrah-e Aseman neighbourhood of Parand in southeast Tehran.   Speaking out after Ghozat was released on bail just two weeks after the incident, Bariha said: 'He threw my girl out of the window in front of my eyes, and then placed her body in my hands. Demitra “Mimi” Roche, who appeared on the Oxygen reality show “Bad Girls Club,” has passed away at the age of 34. Record producer and founder of Valholla Entertainment in Miami, where Roche had worked as vice president of A&R since 2011, announced her death via Twitter. “I’m at a loss for words. A lecturer at the University of Benin in Edo State, Dr Stella Okotie, was on Monday night crushed to death at the university’s main gate. It was gathered that the accident happened when policemen attached to Ugbowo Division were pursuing a commercial bus in a bid to extort some money from the driver. This led to a physical struggle between the driver and the policemen for the wheels. While struggling, the bus driver ran into Dr Okotie, who was standing by the main gate The deceased, who was a lecturer at the Faculty of Education, was standing with her husband, Dr Williams Okotie, also a staff of the institution and their son, Ochuko, when the incident happened. A recently married woman has left her husband and family members in a state of mourning after dying a day after her marriage. A Nigerian woman has passed away just a day after her wedding to her heartrob in Delta state. According to journalist,  Sapele Oghenek  the woman had married on Saturday, but tragically died on Sunday. Her name is yet to be made public. However, it was discovered that on the day of her marriage, she had drip niddle on suggesting that she might have been sick. A woman has cried out for justice after her brother suffered a horrific accident at work that cost his life. The woman said her brother worked for a steel industrial company in Amuwo Odofin but occupational hazard led to his death. She further alleged that the company is trying to cover up her brother’s death and she asked Nigerians to help her get justice for her brother. Mr Akintunde Arotile, father of Nigeria's first female combat helicopter pilot, Tolulope, who passed away on Tuesday, has disclosed their last conversation before she died. Arotile said he called his daughter on the phone on Tuesday at about 1:00pm on her return from an operation against bandits in Katsina State and the two of the had a several minutes chat. He however, revealed that things took a different turn later in the day when he received a call from a person. Nigerian Air Force (NAF) announces the unfortunate demise of flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, who died on, 14 July 2020, as a result of head injuries sustained from a road traffic accident at NAF base in Kaduna.
