A Nigerian man has shared his experience with a lady who stopped on the road to interrogate him after she saw him walking around with his disgruntled niece.   According to Twitter user @Ebuka_Eclat, he was walking along the road in Lagos with his niece who was visibly angry when the lady stopped and took her time to inquire who the ''angry child'' was to him. Woman robbed of her baby and thrown into septic tank is rescued after three days

  A woman has been rescued from a septic tank three days after a man who stole her baby from her threw her in there.   The nursing mother, named Mrs Chizoba Eke was pulled alive but injured from the septic tank of an incomplete building located in Igwuruta, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State.   Her attacker, simply identified as Chinedu was apprehended when he tried to traffic her six months old baby through Omerelu, Rivers border with Imo State.   Mrs Eke, the nursing mother was kidnapped from her home with her baby on August 17, 2020, and forced into a septic tank after a severe assault by her abductor.   The husband of the victim, Mr Eke, also alleged that Chinedu had attempted to rape his wife when she was pregnant with the newborn.   Mr Eke said, “I was invited by the police to come and identify our baby, having lodged a complaint when both my wife and baby went missing. Singer Mariah Carey's estranged sister Alison has filed a lawsuit accusing their mother Patricia of allegedly 'forcing her to perform sex acts on strangers during "Satanic rituals" when she was 10.    Alison Carey, 57, lodged documents with the State of New York Supreme Court seeking damages for "immense psychological and physical damage, mental pain, anguish and intentional infliction of severe emotional distress."   In the papers, obtained by The Sun, Alison alleges she witnessed adults engaging in "sexual acts with both adults and children" and she claims the alleged abuse took place during "middle-of-the-night satanic worship meetings that included ritual sacrifices."   The People's Democratic Party and the Presidency have shared their different viewpoint of a video of APC National Chairman Adams Oshiomhole and the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, having a discussion at the Presidential Villa on Monday August 17.    The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, in a statement released on Tuesday, August 18, raised an alarm of an alleged plot by the All Progressives Congress-led federal government to arrest some of its supporters ahead of the election.    Ologbondiyan also alleged that Oshiomhole and Gambari were allegedly planning a clampdown on certain unnamed Nigerians to achieve political suppression and submission ahead of the Edo election.   The statement read:  “Nigerians were alarmed by the video in which Oshiomhole was seen emphatically urging the Chief of Staff to Mr President on the need to clampdown on certain unnamed Nigerians to achieve politi...

   Oluwayemisi Mafe, a victim of spousal abuse, has detailed how her wedding day turned out to be a sad day for her as it heralded years of abuse that left her feeling so alone and led to her mother’s death.   The marketing communications consultant said she married her husband after two years of courtship, so she thought she knew him well.
