A Nigerian man has shared his experience with a lady who stopped on the road to interrogate him after she saw him walking around with his disgruntled niece. According to Twitter user @Ebuka_Eclat, he was walking along the road in Lagos with his niece who was visibly angry when the lady stopped and took her time to inquire who the ''angry child'' was to him. The lady went as far as speaking with the mother of the child to ensure he wasn't about to abduct the child. After her painstaking interview, the lady informed him that her niece was abducted a few years ago and has never been found and that this has made her develop Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD. 21-year-old man arrested for allegedly sodomizing underaged boys in Anambra

Anambra Police arrested a twenty-one-year-old named Obimeze Maduabuchi Augustine, of Ofianta village, Nsugbe, in Anambra East Local Government Area of the state for allegedly having carnal knowledge of two small boys, aged five and seven respectively. A statement from the spokesperson for the state police command, SP Haruna Mohammed, said Obimese was arrested by detectives attached to B' Division, Akwa, following a tip-off. According to the statement, the suspect voluntarily confessed to the crime and blamed his actions on peer group Haruna said the state commissioner of police, CP John B. Abang, had ordered the transfer of the case to the state criminal investigation department (CID) for discreet investigations after which the suspect would be charged to court.

12 EFCC Officials Suspended Indefinitely

12 Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials have been suspended indefinitely after being quizzed by the Presidential Investigation Committee, headed by Justice Isa Ayo Salami (red). The new development comes days after 12 directors of the agency were suspended by the Presidency in relation to the ongoing probe of suspended Acting Chairman of the commission, Ibrahim Magu. According to reports, some of the directors affected by the suspension had been a part of the team investigating the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN). The agency’s Secretary, Olanipekun Olukoyede was suspended while others affected by the suspension include Kabir Latona, Muhammed Abba, Ibrahim Buhari, Rotimi Oyedepo. Boy claims his mother scarred his face because he broke a plate, then sent him out to beg for alms (video)

The boy was found looking unkempt while begging on the streets and when questioned, he opened up about being abused by his mother. A Good Samaritan who sighted the boy asked why he was out in the street and he said that his mother sent him out to look for what they would eat. The boy named Emma explained that the mark on his face was given to him by his mother because he broke a plate while washing it. The Good Samaritan asked in disbelief if the woman was his mother or stepmother and he said it was his biological mother. Gal Pissetzky, the legal representative of suspected Internet fraudster, Ramon Abass, aka Hushpuppi, has said the suspect is on his way to California, United States of America, for trial. He told The PUNCH on Wednesday night that Hushpuppi had not been released as being speculated in some quarters. 40-ft container of Tramadol intercepted in Lagos

A 40-ft container loaded with Tramadol and other banned medicines has been intercepted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at Brawal Terminal in Lagos. NDLEA Chairman Col. Muhammad Abdallah (Retd) confirmed the interception and further revealed that the drug, which is one of the banned medicines in the country, was taken to a bonded terminal in Apapa. A joint examination revealed 255 cartons of different types of Tramadol and other banned medicines.
