Simi apologies to LGBTQ community for homophobic comments

Popular Nigerian singer, Simisola tendered and apology to the LGBTQ community in Nigeria for the homophobic comments she made earlier this year.

LGBTQ - Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (or Queer)

Earlier this year mother of Adejare, Simi said homosexuality is not Natural, during her YouTube show, Stoopid Sessions;

from her statement

“They say they’re born that way, but I haven’t seen any biological proof,”.

The comment which the LGBTQ community finds offensive and lash at her saying she is being a hypocrite for sympathizing with abroad blackness while promoting 'local homophobic violence Against their own

Today 3rd of August 2020, Simi hase taken to her Twitter page to apologise for the earlier comment. According to her, she carelessly addressed the issue which is a matter of life and death.

AMAC council secretary, Rahmat Abdullahi describes the 'indescribable pain and trauma' experienced after she contracted Coronavirus and infected her daughter

Rahmat Abdullahi, the Council Secretary of Abuja Municipal Area Council revealed that she contracted Covid-19 "in the course of service" and she infected her daughter.   She explained that it was a period of "indescribable pain and trauma".   Thankfully, both mother and daughter are better now and have returned home.   She wrote: "I contracted #COVID19 in the course of service then shared the virus with my daughter. Indescribable pain and trauma... Today, my lovely daughter and I are back home hale and hearty. AlhamduliLlah, and thank you all for your love and prayers. We defeated coronavirus!"

BUHARI ADVISED TO SCRAP NDDC AND NEDC BY NORTHERN GROUP

President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has been advised to scrap the Niger Delta Development Commission and the North East Development Commission for allegedly taking advantage of the masses. Isah Abubakar, National President, Northern Youth Council of Nigeria and Chairman, Nigeria Citizen Action Group, in a statement issued on Monday in Kaduna, said, “We advise that Mr President to as a matter of urgency immediately scrap this two commission so as to stop few from taking advantage of the masses.” He also advised the government to merge agencies, Ministries and commissions to cut costs and reduce corruption.
