Mercy Eke has revealed that the money she won from the BBNaija reality show is still intact.

She made this known during an Instagram Live session with Ugandan Big Brother Africa star,Charles Denzel Mwuiyeretsi simply known as Denzel.

Mercy Eke told Denzel that winning the reality show is something more than an honor and she is grateful to God.

When Denzel asked Mercy how she handled her prize money, the reality star revealed that the money is still intact and it is now bigger than what it was. Mercy went on to appreciate Heritage Bank for advising her on how she could handle such amount of money.

Mercy Said:

“I’ve been working really really hard lately. God has been amazing and I can probably say the money is still intact.

“Yes, the money was a motivation for me because you know, a lot of people from here and there will say, she’s a woman, she’s coming out, she’s going to eat her money, she’s not going to work hard, she going to spend it because everybody knows I like to dress up, I like good things.

“So, they all had that in mind. Oh she’s gonna squander the money, she’s going to throw it around, she’s going to party.

“But as God may have it, that’s why I always use God, so as God may have it, that money is somewhere and it’s bigger than what it was before.

“And the bank is proud of me. It’s a new bank they created for me to fill in that money. Right now, Heritage Bank is proud of me. From what was there before and what is there right now, I know they must be really proud of me, yeah”

Woman robbed of her baby and thrown into septic tank is rescued after three days

  A woman has been rescued from a septic tank three days after a man who stole her baby from her threw her in there.   The nursing mother, named Mrs Chizoba Eke was pulled alive but injured from the septic tank of an incomplete building located in Igwuruta, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State.   Her attacker, simply identified as Chinedu was apprehended when he tried to traffic her six months old baby through Omerelu, Rivers border with Imo State.   Mrs Eke, the nursing mother was kidnapped from her home with her baby on August 17, 2020, and forced into a septic tank after a severe assault by her abductor.   The husband of the victim, Mr Eke, also alleged that Chinedu had attempted to rape his wife when she was pregnant with the newborn.   Mr Eke said, “I was invited by the police to come and identify our baby, having lodged a complaint when both my wife and baby went missing.   Police officers are on the lookout for anyone with information about a set of goats that 'hijacked a police car in broad daylight'.   In the words of the Isle of White, UK police officers, they are in the hunt for some badly behaved 'kids' who damaged their vehicle and are appealing for witnesses.   According to police, the goats were pictured standing on top the police vehicle near Newport on Wednesday afternoon August 19, as Police had been called to the area after an unexploded bomb from World War II was discovered.    The police called the Royal Navy Explosives Team, travelled from Portsmouth to help destroy the unexploded bomb.     The officers, after detonating the bomb, then returned to their car only to find their car damaged by the 'hooligans'.     The police are now asking if anyone can recognize the goats from the picture.    A police statement published on the police department's official Facebook page said: ‘In a...

UK high commission to replace expired visa for free for Nigerians as it restarts operations

Lady arrested for staging her own kidnap says she did it to test her sister's love for her (photo)

A 37-year-old woman, Torkwase Queen Ayakpa, who was arrested by men of the FCT police command for staging her own kidnap, says she did it to find out if her sister loves her.   Ayakpa was one of 24 suspects paraded by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command for various offenses on Wednesday, July 29.   Ayakpa, who is a hairstylist, conspired with one Fidelis Ikule, 36, to stage her kidnap. She told the police that she also did it to extort N20, 000 from her sister because her hairstyling business was no longer doing well due to the coronavirus pandemic.   Ayakpa, a native of Benue state and Fidelis, were arrested after the police traced the calls they were making for the ransom to Fidelis's house in Mashafa Village, Mpape, Abuja, where they were holing up.
