A Nigerian grandmother has set internet on fire with her “legwork” moves while dancing to a song, with her light skinned son.

In a video making the rounds on social media, the elderly woman was spotted showing off her amazing dancing skills with her son who cheered her on.

Over the last decade, the emergence of new dance steps and slangs has demonstrated a consistent reshaping and evolution in pop culture.

Reacting to the viral video of the grandmother and grandson, Nigerians have expressed their love for the elderly woman, while some have insisted that the grandmother must have been a clubber during her young days.

Nigerian students are now beggars in the UK- Abike Dabiri-Erewa asks NDDC to pay Nigerian students their scholarship allowances and fees

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission NIDCOM, has appealed to the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC to pay the allowances, tuition, and other incentives of students on its scholarship scheme in the United Kingdom as most of them have turned to beggars on the streets of the UK.   During the recent National Assembly probe of the NDDC, it was revealed that Nigerian students awarded scholarships to some universities in the United Kingdom, have been abandoned by the commission as they have not received a dime in allowance or school fees from the commission.   The father of a patient slapped and stabbed the medical doctor who was in charge of his child's case, it has been claimed.   A medical doctor narrated the story on Twitter as he discussed the "hazards" medical doctors are exposed to.   He wrote: "The kind of hazards Drs are exposed to is staggering! Somali regional minister shot dead by unknown gunmen

  A Somali regional minister has been shot dead by unknown gunmen in the town of Jowhar, middle Shabelle region.  Abdifatah Hassan, a police official in Jowhar town, told Anadolu Agency over the phone that Hirshabelle State Agriculture Minister Abdukadir Abukar was shot dead minutes after the evening prayer on Monday, August 17.  "The gunmen attacked minister Abdukadir Abukar while he was going to his house from a nearby mosque," Hassan said, adding the attackers fled the scene. He said security forces immediately rushed to the scene after the shooting and started an investigation into the incident.  Authorities believe the al-Shabaab group is behind the attack.
