Nigerian actress, Moyo Lawal says she's hoping her favourite couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will not break up because if they do, it will make her lose faith in love.

 

She stated that if Kim and Kanye's marriage crashes, it means that most relationships are just about "looking good". She added that other couples are no different but theirs have just not played out in the public.

 

She went on to say that she'll just become a baby mama if Kim and Kanye divorce.

Mother drowns after jumping into sea to save her son and his friend

A mother drowned in front of her son and his friend after she jumped into the sea to save them.   The woman, who is in her 30s and has been named locally as Danni, went to the boys' rescue when they got into difficulty in a kayak yesterday, August 9.   The body of the woman was later pulled lifeless from the water after being caught out by the strong current at Waxham beach in the Norfolk United Kingdom.   Horrified onlookers tried in vain to resuscitate her before paramedics took over, but she was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.   The sad incident happened at about 5.30pm on Sunday, while the beach was packed with people.   The beach and nearby Sea Palling are notorious for having dangerous riptides which can sweep away unsuspecting swimmers.   Emergency services including Coastguard teams, ambulances, local paramedics and a rescue helicopter were sent to the scene after HM Coastguard received "multiple calls" about several people in ...

Yakubu Dogara, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, has decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC. Dogara’s defection was disclosed to Channels Television by the acting Chairman of APC, Mai Mala Buni. Buni and Dogara were said to have met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa. Dogara, according to the report, will address the public later. The former Speaker who was an APC member had defected to the PDP during the last general elections.

Kadiri grew up playing soccer on the streets of his hometown, Benin City in Nigeria, where playing soccer served as both fun and distraction from daily life. Former Nigerian international, Musa Nosa Kadiri, has passed away at the age of 53 in New York. A hardhat died and at least three other people were hurt in a chain-reaction accident Thursday at a Manhattan building undergoing facade repair work, authorities said. Disaster struck at about 4:20 p.m. as a section of parapet fell from a 12-story condo building on E. 36th St. near Lexington Ave. in Murray Hill, said officials. Debris from the parapet collapse slammed into a rig that held two construction workers who were making repairs to the facade near the building’s 11th floor, said Randy Kronish, a building resident. “It sounded like something bad happened,” said Kronish, who was in his 11th-floor apartment when the incident happened. “The carriage [rig] was right by my window... 7 members of a family die of food poisoning in Zamfara, husband runs mad

  A food poisoning incident at  Auki village of Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State has left 7 members of the same family, consisting of five children and two housewives, dead.    It was further learnt that the husband of the late woman, Mallam Hassan lawali also developed a psychiatric disorder after eating food prepared with corn on Tuesday night.    An eyewitness told Nigerian Tribune; “After they ate the food, they started to develop stomach pains, three died instantly while four people were taken to General Hospital, Bungudu where they were also pronounced dead”. While the Doctor on duty confirmed that the members of the family died of food poisoning, it was also gathered that Mallam Hassan could neither speak nor eat.
