Official Starboy Wizkid "smiled his way into the ears of Barack Obama, making the former U.S. president's 2020 summer playlist.


Obama shared the selection with his followers on Twitter on Monday evening, in continuation of an annual tradition. 

“Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time listening to music with my family. “I wanted to share some of my favorites from the summer, including songs from some of the artistes at this week’s @DemConvention. Hope you enjoy it,” he wrote.

 The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that upcoming Nigerian-American rapper, Chika, also featured in the list with her uplifting single, “Crown”.

The list features 53 songs from a range of genres, including reggae, hip-hop, country, pop and rock.

American RnB superstar, Beyoncé, also made the list with “Already” from her new visual album, “Black is King.” 

Others in the collection are Rihanna, Bob Marley, OutKast, Nas, J. Cole, Nina Simone and Frank Ocean among others.

Eilish, Leon Bridges, The Chicks, Common and Jennifer Hudson, who also made the list, were scheduled to perform at the ongoing National Convention of the Democratic Party.

AMAC council secretary, Rahmat Abdullahi describes the 'indescribable pain and trauma' experienced after she contracted Coronavirus and infected her daughter

Rahmat Abdullahi, the Council Secretary of Abuja Municipal Area Council revealed that she contracted Covid-19 "in the course of service" and she infected her daughter.   She explained that it was a period of "indescribable pain and trauma".   Thankfully, both mother and daughter are better now and have returned home.   She wrote: "I contracted #COVID19 in the course of service then shared the virus with my daughter. President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has been advised to scrap the Niger Delta Development Commission and the North East Development Commission for allegedly taking advantage of the masses. Isah Abubakar, National President, Northern Youth Council of Nigeria and Chairman, Nigeria Citizen Action Group, in a statement issued on Monday in Kaduna, said, “We advise that Mr President to as a matter of urgency immediately scrap this two commission so as to stop few from taking advantage of the masses.” He also advised the government to merge agencies, Ministries and commissions to cut costs and reduce corruption.   The father of a patient slapped and stabbed the medical doctor who was in charge of his child's case, it has been claimed.   A medical doctor narrated the story on Twitter as he discussed the "hazards" medical doctors are exposed to.   He wrote: "The kind of hazards Drs are exposed to is staggering! In Nigeria, added to the well-known hazards, we have assaults from patient relatives added! A female Dr was slapped and stabbed with a syringe (of unknown origin) in our Children's Emergency by the patient's father. For what?   "The young Registrar on call took a blood sample from the man's child and asked him to take it to the lab. The lab scientists (as they sometimes do) said the sample was inadequate.
