It all started with the upcoming music act tweeting a song with the twitter handle @iamanonymous9ja where he was begging to be signed,  prompting notorious twitter user @ewawunmi to throw bants equating him to a low budget lagbaja,  even going as far as declaring he would never get a record deal.

The ensuing uproar beamed a light on the act, who in no time had record labels gunning for him. Of which he has been offered a 5 million naira recording deal, a car and an apartment.

  Prof Kemebradikumo Pondei,  the acting Managing Director of the Expanded Interim Management Committee, EIMC of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, says he is shocked that some Nigerians thought he was acting when he fainted while testifying before a House of Representatives public hearing on the alleged financial recklessness of the commission on July 20. Pondei  shocked Nigerians including the lawmakers when he slumped  during the hearing. Pondei passed out after he failed to defend the N1.3 billion he approved to provide COVID-19 palliative for members of the Commission. He also could not defend the N640 million he approved to one clear point communications limit.  He was being asked about the money meant for students on scholarships when he passed out. Nigerian students are now beggars in the UK- Abike Dabiri-Erewa asks NDDC to pay Nigerian students their scholarship allowances and fees

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission NIDCOM, has appealed to the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC to pay the allowances, tuition, and other incentives of students on its scholarship scheme in the United Kingdom as most of them have turned to beggars on the streets of the UK.   During the recent National Assembly probe of the NDDC, it was revealed that Nigerian students awarded scholarships to some universities in the United Kingdom, have been abandoned by the commission as they have not received a dime in allowance or school fees from the commission. The man who made the video of the incident said the lady’s account with the unnamed bank was debited, so she brought her fetish priest (‘Babalawo’) boyfriend to fight for her. Bristow Helicopters publicize the sack of over 100 pilots and engineers in its employ. In a statement released on Tuesday, August 4, the company said the workers laid off due to the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic on its operations.
