 Samklef calls out Tunde Ednut for blocking him and Ubi Franklin after they started their Instagram channels


Music producer, Samklef has taken a swipe at Tunde Ednut for blocking him and Ubi Franklin on Instagram after they started their channels on the social media platform. 

 

Recalling how he's been friends with Tunde Ednut since 2007, Samklef disclosed that they were blocked by the former comedian and singer because he felt they are a threat. He added that he doesn't believe Tunde Ednut relocated from Nigeria to the United States with his "competition mentality".  

 

He wrote; 


I  believe the sky is large enough for everybody to shine. No, be the only brand of moto dey this world! Jay-Z has Ace of Spade, Puff Daddy has Ciroc and Rick-Ross has Belaire Rose and all of them are making money and still friends in the business. I’m shocked that someone I thought was my guy’ who came to see me in my hotel’ even brought a drink and we drank together. We celebrated his new car and took photos together, blocked me on Instagram 3days after, without any issues. Reasons why because he feels that I’m a threat! I have never had any issue with him since we have been friends since 2007. Nawa oh! I just can’t believe he still carries that Niaja competitive mentality enters Yankee after all these years. We grow by lifting others, my guy block me’ even block ubi Franklin 2...no wahala! God dey. Aye kpo gan!

Magu Probe: Olukoyede, EFCC Secretary, Suspended

Some officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have received letters of suspension, TheCable understands. Although details of those suspended are yet to be made public,  TheCable  learnt that Olanipekun Olukoyede, secretary to the commission, is among those who received the letters. The development is not unconnected to the ongoing probe of Ibrahim Magu, suspended acting chairman of the EFCC. Magu was arrested on July 6 and whisked to the presidential villa in Abuja, where he appeared before a panel set up by President Muhammadu Buhari to probe the operations of the EFCC under him. The panel is headed by Ayo Salami, retired president of the appeal court. On July 14, Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation (AGF), sent a letter to Mohammed Umar, acting EFCC chairman, notifying him of the suspension of 12 directors in the commission. Demitra “Mimi” Roche, who appeared on the Oxygen reality show “Bad Girls Club,” has passed away at the age of 34. Record producer and founder of Valholla Entertainment in Miami, where Roche had worked as vice president of A&R since 2011, announced her death via Twitter. “I’m at a loss for words. NDDC Spent N4.2b In One Day, Akpabio Tells Reps

Contract splitting is rampant in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Niger Delta Affairs Minister Godswill Akpabio, said on Monday. According to him, the management of the agency indulges in splitting contracts to outwit the minister and evade approval. Speaking before the House of Representatives Committee on Niger Delta in Abuja, the minister alleged that the agency spent “over N4.2 billion in a day in tranches of N49 million.” The committee is probing how N40 billion was spent by the Interim Management Committee (IMC). Akpabio was invited with the Acting Managing Director of the NDDC, Prof. Kemebradikumo Pondei. Pondei fainted during the proceedings and had to be revived and taken to the hospital.
