Obaseki disrespects Oba of Benin - Oshiomhole

Former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole has accused Governor Godwin Obaseki of disrespecting the Oba of Benin. 
 

Oshiomhole made the allegation while fielding questions on a talk-show on Arise TV. He accused the Edo state Governor of not only disrespecting the esteemed Benin palace, but also Edo tradition by the wearing a cap as he visited the monarch last week. 

 

The former APC Chairman said; 

“You call yourself a Bini man, yet you came to Bini palace wearing a cap in company of other PDP governors."


Last week, Governor Obaseki led a group of visiting PDP governors to the palace on a courtesy visit to the Benin monarch before proceeding to the Sam Ogbemudia Stadium to launch his campaign for a second term.

A new mum whose stitches didn't heal for 8 months after childbirth has disclosed what was found in her body when she was referred to another doctor.   The mum said that for 8 months, she was dressing her wounds but it refused to heal. She explained that her doctor didn't take it seriously and kept telling her that it will heal eventually.   She was later referred to another doctor who then told her that something must be in there. She said surgery was scheduled and something that looks like a wire was found in her body.   See below.

Drake breaks Madonna’s record for most US Top 10 hits

Rapper and record producer, Drake has beaten Madonna’s record for the highest number of Top 10 hits in US chart history.   The Canadian born rapper broke the record after his collaboration with DJ Khaled, Popstar polled at No 3 while Greece charted at No 8 this week, bringing his total Top 10 hits to 40 and beating Madonna’s record of 38.   In March, he also broke the record for the most hits in the US Hot 100, at 208 but as at July that tally has now reached 224, aided by his most recent full-length release, Dark Lane Demo Tapes, which came out in May.
