Obaseki disrespects Oba of Benin - Oshiomhole

Former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole has accused Governor Godwin Obaseki of disrespecting the Oba of Benin. 
 

Oshiomhole made the allegation while fielding questions on a talk-show on Arise TV. He accused the Edo state Governor of not only disrespecting the esteemed Benin palace, but also Edo tradition by the wearing a cap as he visited the monarch last week. 

 

The former APC Chairman said; 

“You call yourself a Bini man, yet you came to Bini palace wearing a cap in company of other PDP governors."


Last week, Governor Obaseki led a group of visiting PDP governors to the palace on a courtesy visit to the Benin monarch before proceeding to the Sam Ogbemudia Stadium to launch his campaign for a second term.

People should wear goggles for perfect protection from Coronavirus - Dr Fauci says, amid evidence virus can get into eyes

The United States' top infectious disease expert, Dr Anthony Fauci has said that people should wear googles for complete protection from Covid-19 as the virus can enter the body through any mucosal surface - including the mouth, nose or eyes.   According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Coronavirus is primarily contagious through respiratory droplets expelled when people cough or sneeze, but growing evidence suggests that droplets from just regular speaking or breathing may be able to spread the disease too.    These droplets can get into the eyes, too, according to Dr Fauci. Magu ordered my arrest after I demanded my N763m legal fee - Former EFCC lawyer alleges

A former prosecutor who worked with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Chief Godwin Obla (SAN), has revealed that the suspended acting Chairman of the anti-graft agency, Ibrahim Magu, ordered his arrest after he asked to be paid a sum of N763.9m in legal fees.   Chief Obla reportedly made the revelation while reading out an 18-page letter to the Justice Ayo Salami-led Presidential panel investigating Magu.
