 Bauchi commisioner, Mohammed Sadiq resigns

Mohammed Sadiq, Bauchi State's Commissioner for Commerce and Industries, has resigned from his appointment, as confirmed in a Facebook post he shared. 

 

The commissioner said to be loyal to Yakubu Dogara, also thanked the former Speaker of the House of Representatives for making his appointment possible.

This comes amid a face-off between Dogara and the Governor of Bauchi state,  Bala Mohammed. This became visible after the lawmaker defected from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to his former party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

A couple is suing after they were attacked by a lion who crept into their tent while they were on a luxury safari.   Patrick Fourgeaud and his wife Brigitte Fourgeaud, 63, were camping in the Ruaha National Park, in Tanzania, when a lion crept in and ripped part of Patrick Fourgeaud's left arm off.   The couple is now suing the British company that organised their holiday.   The victim's wife, Brigitte Fourgeaud, 63, said: "I will never forget that moment when I woke up to see the lion there.   "I thought we were both going to die. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has expressed his desire meet the little boy in the catchy "mummy calm down" viral video.    The Lagos state Governor who noted that the exchange between the little boy and his mother was funny, stated that it depicts the efforts parents put in moulding children into responsible adults. Parents Face Manslaughter After They Forgot Their Son In A Car And Only Remembered Him By 3pm The Next Day

The parents of a three years old child, have been charged for manslaughter because they forgot him in their car and went to bed only to remember the following day when it was too late. Dakota Fowler, 20, and Brandi Burks, 22, went to bed at midnight on Saturday, August 8, and forgot to get their son out of the car. They discovered him unresponsive in their vehicle 15 hours later, Franklin County police said. Bentley Fowler, 3, was declared  dead  in Hodges, Alabama, at about 4 pm on Sunday. The sheriff said he believed Bentley had died as a result of being left in a hot car, but a post-mortem at the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences will establish the cause of death. Officials said the parents told them they last saw the child around midnight on Saturday when they allegedly put the toddler to bed.
