Ubi Franklin revealed he attempted suicide multiple times three years ago while reacting to the heartbreaking video of Izuchukwu Madubueze reading his suicide note before shooting himself dead.

 

Ubi explained that online bullying caused him to be depressed. He added that he "got bullied so much on Instagram in the last two years that he started getting depressed again."

 

He said that he was able to get out of depression by asking himself some questions like, "Why bother your self with people who contribute nothing to your life? Are you the first to have a failed marriage? Are you the first to have kids from 4 different women?"

 

Ubi pointed out that no one's life is perfect and most of those who condemn people online also have their skeletons.

 

He further stated that "suicide is never an option".

 

"I am here today because I know there is got to be more," he added.

  Nollywood filmmaker, Tchidi Chikere has been dragged into an exchange with a follower over his comment about bottles used to sell groundnuts in the country.    Chikere, who shared a photo of some unidentified people arranging some used bottles on the floor stated that they are bottles used to sell groundnuts across the country and are picked from the garbage heap.    However, after being accused of "complaining about citizens trying to make ends meet in a legit way," the filmmaker fired back by saying that the bottles picked from dustbin heap were not recycled but rinsed.

  Shola, a young Nigerian who was arrested for creating a Goodluck Jonathan parody Twitter account, has reacted following his release from prison.   Shola made it clear that he wasn't trying to impersonate the former Nigerian president because he indicated in his Twitter bio that it was a parody account.   He added that he shared a tweet on May 5 and was arrested on May 23 after his telecommunications service provider gave them his information without his consent.   He wrote: "The telecommunications service provider gave out my data without my consent which is really bad, my privacy was invaded. They got 5 numbers in which my uncle’s digit was among.
