“She Gave Her Consent” – Teacher Who Raped 10-Year-Old Pupil In Yobe Says

The suspect said the victim willingly gave her consent before he defiled her in an uncompleted building.

An assistant headteacher with Jajere Central Primary School identified as Abubakar Musa has been arrested by the Yobe state police command for allegedly raping one of his pupil, a 10-year-old (name withheld), and claiming it was consensual.

Disclosing his arrest to newsmen, the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Dungus Abdulkarim, said Musa who is well known in the community for defiling little children, used money to lure his victim, a primary five pupil, into an uncompleted building and raped her on two occasions, July 15 and July 17.

“From our investigation, we found out that Musa met her in the market where she sells sachet water. He then picked two sachets of water and left after telling her to meet him in an uncompleted building for her money. As soon as she arrived, he took advantage of the situation and had sexual intercourse with her.

We also gathered that Musa lured the victim to a-yet-to-be identified place and had canal knowledge of her for the second time. We are now working with the victim to identify the second crime scene,” ASP Abdulkarim said

When interrogated, Musa confessed to having had sex with the little girl twice but blamed his action on the work of the devil. He added that the little girl consented to him raping her.

The police spokesperson says the matter will be charged to court soon.

NJC recommends 22 judges to Buhari for appointment to Supreme Court and others

Although details of those suspended are yet to be made public,  TheCable  learnt that Olanipekun Olukoyede, secretary to the commission, is among those who received the letters. Woman robbed of her baby and thrown into septic tank is rescued after three days

  A woman has been rescued from a septic tank three days after a man who stole her baby from her threw her in there.   The nursing mother, named Mrs Chizoba Eke was pulled alive but injured from the septic tank of an incomplete building located in Igwuruta, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State.   Her attacker, simply identified as Chinedu was apprehended when he tried to traffic her six months old baby through Omerelu, Rivers border with Imo State.   Mrs Eke, the nursing mother was kidnapped from her home with her baby on August 17, 2020, and forced into a septic tank after a severe assault by her abductor.   The husband of the victim, Mr Eke, also alleged that Chinedu had attempted to rape his wife when she was pregnant with the newborn.   Mr Eke said, “I was invited by the police to come and identify our baby, having lodged a complaint when both my wife and baby went missing. A former Kaduna Central district Senator, Shehu Sani has strongly condemned the killing of aid workers by Boko Haram insurgents in Borno State. DAILY POST reported that the aid workers were kidnapped by Boko Haram Terrorists on June 20th and were executed on Wednesday. In a video released by the armed group while executing the humanitarian workers, the terrorists said they executed the abducted aid workers living in their custody for a month in Borno state, having exhausted the days given for the ransom. Reacting, Shehu Sani described the execution as ‘sad and tragic.’ He, therefore, called for the protection of all aid workers in the country. “The execution of the five aid workers by the insurgents is sad and tragic.
