Its a boy! OAP Toolz and husband Tunde Demuren welcome their second child

OAP Tolu Oniru-Demuren aka Toolz, and her husband, Captain Tunde Demuren, are proud parents again, as they have welcomed their second child, a boy.

 

The excited mum shared a video from her maternity shoot as she announced the good news via her Instagram page.

 

Toolz and Tunde, who got married in June 2016, welcomed their first child in December 2018.

A Florida man has been accused of fraudulently obtaining nearly $4 million from the Paycheck Protection Program and using part of the money to buy a $318,000 Lamborghini. The man, David T. Hines, 29, of Miami, was arrested Friday July 24 and charged with one count of bank fraud, one count of making false statements to a financial institution and one count of engaging in transactions in unlawful proceeds, the Department of Justice said in a news release. Federal agents seized the car, valued at $318,000, and $3.4 million from his bank accounts when he was arrested, the Justice Department said. The criminal complaint against Hines was unsealed on Monday July 27, upon his initial appearance before U.S. Chief Magistrate Judge John J. O’Sullivan in the Southern District of Florida. President Buhari and former President Goodluck Jonathan in closed door meeting (photos)

  President Buhari had a closed-door meeting with former President Goodluck Jonathan, at the statehouse, Abuja on Tuesday, August 18.   The reason for the meeting is yet to be disclosed. It is however believed it was about the ongoing mediation in the political crisis in Mali.   The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) appointed the former president to head the political reconciliation in Mali where there is leadership tussle.   See more photos below

The Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has rescued the former acting managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Ms. Joi Nunieh from her house after armed policemen laid siege to her house.   Wike arrived Nunieh’s residence off Herbert Marculay Street, Amada-Flat at about 10:30 this morning following reports that she had been prevented from leaving her house by  a team of policemen allegedly on the order of   the Inspection General of Police   Nunieh was scheduled to appear before the House of Representatives ad hoc committee set up to probe malfeasance in the commission. A visibly angry Wike questioned the policemen on who authorised the siege and when they claimed it was from the IGP, he beckoned on Ms Nunieh to come out from her house. Singer Tamar Braxton has been rushed to hospital unresponsive after reports of heramid reports of a possible suicide attempt. Toni Braxton was rushed to hospital by ambulance after she was found unresponsive by her boyfriend David Adefeso at the Ritz Carlton Residences in downtown Los Angeles, it’s reported. David called 911 and said he believed it may have been a suicide attempt, according to The Blast. Russian powerlifter breaks both knees as attempt to squat 400kg goes horribly wrong in terrifying video

  The Russian powerlifting champion fractured both of his knees while attempting to squat 400kg (880lb).    Defending champion Alexander Sedykh was competing in the World Raw Powerlifting Federation (WRPF) European Championships near Moscow when the terrifying incident occurred.   In the shocking video, Sedykh's legs can be seen shaking after holding the weight on his shoulders. As he prepares for the squat with the enormous weight, both of his knees buckled horribly, and he cried out in anguish. He fractured both his knees in the incident and also ruptured his quadriceps muscles.    Sedykh was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery on his legs.   The powerlifting champion, who must now learn how to walk again said: “The main thing is that I must lie motionless in bed for two months.”   “Then I’ll be taught how to walk again. A Nigerian doctor, Urey, who just passed out from National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, on Thursday, July 16th, has died. According to report, Urey who was a 2019 Batch B stream 2 corper, was involved in a fatal accident at Onne, Rivers state, on her way returning back home. Reports have it that the trailer lost control which led to the crash with her vehicle. Urey was a graduate of Imo state University, department of Optometry. Urey was said to have ‘struggled’ with medical school and finally got out successfully. Friends and family members have taken to social media to pen tributes to her.

Donald Trump says he will pardon someone ‘very, very important’ today

  US President, Donald Trump has said he will pardon someone who is “very, very important” on Tuesday, August 18.   Trump made the announcement on Monday night, August 17, while speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One. He didn’t identify who the person was but added it would not be leaker Edward Snowden or former national security adviser Michael Flynn.   "Doing a pardon tomorrow on someone who is very, very important," Trump told reporters on Air Force One.   He declined to offer further details except to say it was not Flynn nor Snowden.   Trump on Saturday, August 15, said he’d look “very strongly” at pardoning Snowden, who’s accused of espionage and theft of government property for leaking troves of National Security Agency information.   Meanwhile, in May, Trump said he was mulling a full pardon for Flynn, who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI during an investigation into the 2016 presidential campaign. ...

Adedamola Adewale, popularly known as Adeherself, has released a statement after being released on bail from EFCC custody.   The popular social media influencer was arrested for internet fraud weeks ago and arraigned before Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos on a one-count charge of possession of fraudulent documents.   The 20-year-old skit maker was released last week and she has now released a statement on Instagram.  If there's one thing I've learnt in life, it's to never give up no matter how hard things may get in life....
