"I know I will come out of this victorious" Adeherself releases statement after being released from EFCC custody

Adedamola Adewale, popularly known as Adeherself, has released a statement after being released on bail from EFCC custody.

 

The popular social media influencer was arrested for internet fraud weeks ago and arraigned before Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos on a one-count charge of possession of fraudulent documents.

 

The 20-year-old skit maker was released last week and she has now released a statement on Instagram. 

If there's one thing I've learnt in life, it's to never give up no matter how hard things may get in life.... I Am Adeherself, yes I'm cheerful, happy, playful, energetic and free spirited, I wunt deny the fact that right now I'm in pains and presently going through a phase I never imagined I could ever face in life.


I know I will come out of this victorious, and by the special grace of God with the help of my counselor, I'll be Adeherself the real King of Queens once again.


To all my lovers out there, I'm sorry I have not been able to say much about what has been going on concerning the whole situation on ground.
please understand that this still an on going case, and I'm following the instructions of my lawyers...


I love you all with all my heart and I assure you that's Adeherself will be Adeherself once again.

An angry mob of neighbours tried to lynch a suspected killer in Argentina after the body of a missing 19 year old girl was found buried in his garden.   Beautiful Julieta Abigail del Pino went missing on Friday July 31, in the small town of Berabevu, in northeastern Santa Fe, Argentina. Magu Probe: Olukoyede, EFCC Secretary, Suspended

Some officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have received letters of suspension, TheCable understands. Although details of those suspended are yet to be made public,  TheCable  learnt that Olanipekun Olukoyede, secretary to the commission, is among those who received the letters. The development is not unconnected to the ongoing probe of Ibrahim Magu, suspended acting chairman of the EFCC. Magu was arrested on July 6 and whisked to the presidential villa in Abuja, where he appeared before a panel set up by President Muhammadu Buhari to probe the operations of the EFCC under him. The panel is headed by Ayo Salami, retired president of the appeal court. On July 14, Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation (AGF), sent a letter to Mohammed Umar, acting EFCC chairman, notifying him of the suspension of 12 directors in the commission.
