GIRL SAVED BY HER 6 - YEAR OLD BROTHER FROM BEEN CHARGED BY A DOG - VIRAL POST ON INSTAGRAM 

A 6-year-old Wyoming boy received about 90 stitches after a dog chewed up his face as he saved his little sister from the aggressive animal last Thursday, according to a viral Instagram post.

Bridger Walker of Cheyenne, Wyo., was resting at home after the rescue, according to the post by Nikki Walker.

Nikki Walker said on social media that she is the boy’s aunt and wanted to bring attention to his heroism.

“He’s in great spirits, and his awesome personality is intact,” Walker wrote. “He can’t smile too widely yet, but he was grinning as I read some of your comments to him.”

Two confirmed dead and many properties razed as gas explosion rocks Ajao estate in Lagos (photos/video)

Two persons have been confirmed dead in a gas explosion that rocked Afariogun Street in the Ajao area of Lagos State this evening Tuesday, July 28.   The explosion started from a shop used in refilling gas cylinders. Nine shops were razed in the explosion and a number of cars were also burnt.   According to reports, the accident happened after a 62-year-old woman, who runs a cooking gas shop and her 32-year-old daughter were called back to their shop to attend to a “regular customer” who came to fill a gas cylinder. The woman returned and successfully attended to the customer. However, the sad incident happened when the customer tried putting the gas cylinder into a waiting tricycle, it fell and exploded.   The Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, who confirmed the incident, said the fire had been extinguished and that the bodies of the deceased persons have been evacuated from the scen...

FG reciprocates, bans EU flights from entering Nigeria

  The federal government says it would also be banning flights from European nations just as it has banned flights from Nigeria into their country.   As part of measures to contain the spread of the Coronavirus in its region, the European Union in June this year released a statement listing some countries that are banned from flying into any of the countries in the region, and Nigeria was included.   At the daily briefing of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 on Thursday, August 20, the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, announced that the Federal government will be reciprocating the EU's decision. Airlines from the European Union will not be allowed to fly into Nigeria once international flights resume operations in Nigeria on Saturday, August 29.   The minister, who was represented by the Director-General, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Capt.
