GHEN GHEN!! DSS Official Slaps Airport Security In Abuja Who Tried To Search Passenger

The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria has revealed how leader of the Department of State Services at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, Safiyanu Abba, deliberately obstructed security process and slapped an officer of Aviation Security.

FAAN in a tweet on Wednesday accused Abba of breaching the security procedure by obstructing the thorough searching of a visitor, who was said to have walked through the metal detector, forcing the alarm to go off.

The incident reportedly happened on Wednesday July 17, 2020 at about 3:25pm at the international terminal of the airport.

“The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria strongly condemns this abuse of power and the security process in our airport. This has also been duly escalated.

“FAAN is committed to our core values of safety, security and comfort.”

Jigawa chapter of NBA threatens to boycott association's AGM if the decision to withdraw El-Rufai’s invitation is not reversed

  The Jigawa state chapter of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has threatened to boycott the 2020 Annual General Meeting of the bar if the decision to withdraw the invitation of Kaduna state governor, Nasir el-Rufai, is not reversed.   The NBA on Thursday, August 20, announced the withdrawal of Governor el-Rufai's invitation, following a protest by some lawyers who argued that the governor is well known for 'human rights abuse,' and therefore shouldn't be invited to their meeting.   In a statement released, the chairman of NBA in Jigawa state, Abubakar Garba, argued that the governor has not been given a fair hearing to defend himself from the allegations of human rights abuses some members of the profession leveled against him. Adedamola Adewale, popularly known as Adeherself, has released a statement after being released on bail from EFCC custody.   The popular social media influencer was arrested for internet fraud weeks ago and arraigned before Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos on a one-count charge of possession of fraudulent documents.   The 20-year-old skit maker was released last week and she has now released a statement on Instagram.  If there's one thing I've learnt in life, it's to never give up no matter how hard things may get in life.... Nigerian-trained US-based medical doctor who went viral when she said she has cured hundreds of Covid-19 patients with hydroxychloroquine, has threatened Facebook for taking down her page following her viral interview.   Dr Stella Immanuel spoke out during a press conference at Washington. She stated that the antimalarial drug, hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and antibacterial drug, Zithromax were effective in the treatment of Coronavirus.
