BBNaija Ka3na, one of the housemates in the Lockdown season 5 edition of the reality TV show has revealed she’s single even though she was once married.

The 26-year-old entrepreneur from Rivers, Nigeria, said things happened between she and her husband and they had to go their separate ways.

When asked whether she has plans to hook up with someone else, she said she needs a companion, someone whom she can share her problems and success with, but not searching for anything serious at the moment.

Ka3na describes herself as a strong woman who wants more from life. Her dream is to be famous and own the biggest luxury fashion brand in the world.

Singer Tamar Braxton has been rushed to hospital unresponsive after reports of heramid reports of a possible suicide attempt. Toni Braxton was rushed to hospital by ambulance after she was found unresponsive by her boyfriend David Adefeso at the Ritz Carlton Residences in downtown Los Angeles, it’s reported. David called 911 and said he believed it may have been a suicide attempt, according to The Blast. Russian powerlifter breaks both knees as attempt to squat 400kg goes horribly wrong in terrifying video

  The Russian powerlifting champion fractured both of his knees while attempting to squat 400kg (880lb).    Defending champion Alexander Sedykh was competing in the World Raw Powerlifting Federation (WRPF) European Championships near Moscow when the terrifying incident occurred.   In the shocking video, Sedykh's legs can be seen shaking after holding the weight on his shoulders. As he prepares for the squat with the enormous weight, both of his knees buckled horribly, and he cried out in anguish. He fractured both his knees in the incident and also ruptured his quadriceps muscles.    Sedykh was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery on his legs.   The powerlifting champion, who must now learn how to walk again said: “The main thing is that I must lie motionless in bed for two months.”   “Then I’ll be taught how to walk again. A Nigerian doctor, Urey, who just passed out from National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, on Thursday, July 16th, has died. According to report, Urey who was a 2019 Batch B stream 2 corper, was involved in a fatal accident at Onne, Rivers state, on her way returning back home. Reports have it that the trailer lost control which led to the crash with her vehicle. Urey was a graduate of Imo state University, department of Optometry. Urey was said to have ‘struggled’ with medical school and finally got out successfully. Friends and family members have taken to social media to pen tributes to her.

  US President, Donald Trump has said he will pardon someone who is “very, very important” on Tuesday, August 18.   Trump made the announcement on Monday night, August 17, while speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One. He didn’t identify who the person was but added it would not be leaker Edward Snowden or former national security adviser Michael Flynn.   "Doing a pardon tomorrow on someone who is very, very important," Trump told reporters on Air Force One.   He declined to offer further details except to say it was not Flynn nor Snowden.   Trump on Saturday, August 15, said he’d look “very strongly” at pardoning Snowden, who’s accused of espionage and theft of government property for leaking troves of National Security Agency information.   Meanwhile, in May, Trump said he was mulling a full pardon for Flynn, who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI during an investigation into the 2016 presidential campaign. ...

  Gbenga Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary to the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has recounted his experience after recovering from the novel Coronavirus.   Gbenga in a post shared on social media, said himself, his wife and driver tested positive for the virus in July.   The media aide said the experience was scary for him as he had never felt that way before. He stated that his wife's situation deteriorated with time as the doctors detected underlying illnesses she had before she contracted the viral disease.   Gbenga who has since recovered and has returned to work wrote; Thank God I am back at my duty post!   Nigerians have reacted to President Buhari's media aide, Bashir Ahmad's tweet which surfaced in the wake of the death penalty handed out to a Kano singer, Yahaya Sharif-Aminu who was found guilty of committing blasphemy for a song he circulated via WhatsApp in March 2020.    Bashir Ahmad had in the tweet shared in 2015, supported the death penalty for blasphemy which he described as his "belief".    The tweet read;  I cant pretend or keep silent. I support the death penalty for BLASPHEMY. That's my belief and I do not and will never support #SaveKanoNine The tweet then led to an outcry from Nigerians who asked how he is different from Boko Haram insurgents who mete out the same treatment to those they accuse of blasphemy.  Here are some tweets below:
