26-year-old Pwadimadi Zeham, pictured above, has been arrested by men of the Adamawa state police command, for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl in the state.

Disclosing this to newsmen, the spokesperson of the police command, DSP Suleiman Nguroje, said Zeham was arrested last Thursday July 23 in Numan town in the state after he allegedly had carnal knowledge of the little girl.

"Detectives attached to Numan Division have arrested one Pwadimadi Zeham, 26, a resident of Mbulawa ward, Numan Local Government Area, for raping a four-year-old girl.

The suspect, who happened to be a close neighbour to the victim, took her into his room on July 23 and had carnal knowledge of her.

The mother, upon noticing the unusual behaviour of her little baby, closely monitored and observed sperm in her private part, hence she reported.

The victim is now undergoing medical screening while the suspect is taken into custody for investigation and prosecution." Nguroje said

Gunmen abduct Ex-commissioner’s children and NSCDC officer in Zamfara

Several unknown gunmen have abducted the two sons of Bello Dankande, a former Zamfara commissioner alongside an officer of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). The incident, which took place at Dankande’s residence in Gamji, Bakura local government area of the state on Tuesday August 18, left one person dead and a woman with injuries. Two airplanes collide at Lagos airport

A wing tip accident was witnessed at the cargo area of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos on Wednesday July 29. The accident occurred when a Middle East Airlines plane was coming to park on the apron while a Turkish Airlines aircraft was taxiing out. 21-year-old man arrested for allegedly sodomizing underaged boys in Anambra

Anambra Police arrested a twenty-one-year-old named Obimeze Maduabuchi Augustine, of Ofianta village, Nsugbe, in Anambra East Local Government Area of the state for allegedly having carnal knowledge of two small boys, aged five and seven respectively.
